Lauren Ross’s practice focuses on legal ethics, attorney disqualification, sanctions issues, legal malpractice, licensure, and conflicts of interest. She also has experience representing and advising clients in election contests and arbitration proceedings.
Lauren previously worked as an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she was a member of the firm’s Environment, Land, & Resources Department. Lauren’s practice focused on litigation involving environmental law, municipal law, and land use entitlements. She represented clients in the construction industry, energy industry, and public sector. Lauren also advised clients on a wide-range of environmental disputes in trial and appellate courts. Additionally, Lauren participated extensively in Latham’s pro bono program, where she represented asylum applicants and domestic violence victims.
Lauren graduated from the University of Texas Law School with honors in 2007. She received her B.B.A. in Marketing and International Business from the University of Texas in 2004. Lauren is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western District of Texas, and the Southern and Central Districts of California. She is a member of both the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of California. In 2016, Texas Super Lawyers recognized Lauren as a Rising Star in the area of Administrative Law.
